Out of this perscription bottle, I am going to make a waterproof key hider for outside. Isn't that a great idea?

Recycle Perscription Bottles
I hate to throw things away and am forever trying to find ways to reuse. I don't know where I seen this idea but I think it is great. If I seen it on one of your blogs, please let me know so I can give you credit.
Out of this perscription bottle, I am going to make a waterproof key hider for outside. Isn't that a great idea?
I took all the labels off and washed the perscription bottle.
I went outside to my rock bed and found a rock to fit on top of the bottle, then I used silicone caulking to glue the rock on the lid of the perscription bottle.

Recycling an old towel
I have a lot of old towels like the one below that I have no use for any longer. I have tried to think of what to do with them.....about 2 years ago, I started making head towels. They are the towels you twirl on top of your head when your hair is wet.
Fold the towel in half length wise and cut a pattern like below. I always cut mine bigger so I can turn the cut edges up twice to keep from fraying.
My Husband bought me a hair towel years ago and I have been using it as a pattern. Some of you artistic people will not need a pattern but I do.

Nebraska Bridge, Near Tionesta, Pennsylvania
Okay everyone, you need to STOP what you are doing and check this out....it is really hard to believe and to me it is amazing.
This takes place in Forrest County on Nebraska Road near Tionesta, Pennsylvania.
You see that sign? When it is out on the road, you better abide by it.
Here is what the locals refer to as the Nebrask bridge in September 2009
I will give you a little closer view of it.
What do you think that is on top right hand side of the bridge. If you guess a bird nest, you would be wrong. I will show you what causes it in the next picture.

I just took this picture today. See that metal piece straight ahead... in the middle of the picture? No...well I will give you a closer look.
Yep!! You guessed it. That is the top of the bridge when the water floods. I just think this is so amazing, even after seeing this I still have a hard time believing that this happens and it will probably stay like this all winter.

What Do I Put Popcorn Balls In
I made way to many popcorn balls
Hubs loves these Popcorn Balls, I had marshmallows that I needed to use up, plus I have popcorn. Well I ended up making 4 batches to use up the marshmallows. I am NOT going to leave all of them here for my Hubs to eat so I am going to take some of them to my daughter. She has 2 teenage girls who will devour them.
I wanted to put them is this plastic jar to keep them fresh....but look at it. It looks like it has a disease.
So I took my goo gone and got rid of all the paper etc...that was on the jar, then I decided to pretty it up a little bit.
Here it is in the process of getting a face lift.
Okay...this is what it turned out like. In my visions it was a lot cuter but it still looks better than it did at the start. It was suppose to look more wintery.

Fabric Scrap Flowers And a Giveaway
These are the Pink flowers I made so I have something to contribute. These started with just scraps of fabric.
I am not great at making these flowers, but they seem to turn out okay and at least look like a flower.
I even made a purple gingham one.
I am going to use these flowers on a project which I will use for another Pink Saturday and also Finding Beauty at Dipity Road
Now go on over to How Sweet The Sound and see what Beverly is up to.
Below is a picture that I, right now have a hard time finding beauty in because like many of you, I have been dealing with SNOW for awhile now. But...it is beautiful.
